The VFA full time academy provides the opportunity for South African and International students to experience a professional training environment, which is modelled on the leading football academies in Europe. The program combines quality high school education with top-class football training and athletic development, with the goal of developing well-rounded young people for success in life and on the football pitch. All of this is presented in a structured and disciplined environment, allowing the students to flourish to their potential. The football and academic programs both take place at the exclusive VFA Football grounds in Johannesburg, providing a unique learning environment.

We train the players together as team to ensure better performance.

Focuses are:

• League games and friendlies when league is offer.
• Age-appropriate tournaments
• Strength and conditioning
• Filming of games which our coaches do game analysis during the week after every game to help develop the player.
• Scholarship opportunities as we assist in the scholarships to America and Europe, the filming of games assist us to develop the player’s profile. This needs to start at age 15 for better scholarship.
• International tours and national tours.

We offer individual training to players to help benefit and improve their game, especially where they are struggling. A player can hand select the coach to make sure the player is comfortable as this brings the best out of a player. With the 1v1 training a goal needs to be reached by the player, both working close together to ensure that goal is obtained.

If you are not a Velocity player and looking to get a scholarship. We help players film their games and build a profile and assist them in gaining a scholarship.
